So far, this is who is included in our production work. As time goes on, we may have more people included.
This is me; my main roll is to film mostly everything.

This is Megan. She is included within the visual production as the interviewer, and she will also help with editing.

This is Dan. His main roll will be to edit mostly everything.

This is Tom, he will help out in both the camerawork and editing.
This is Gemma. She has the main role of playing Drew Taylor and will be in most of the shots.
Here is Denis, Robson, myself and Dan playing the part as the judges.

Product Analysis
As part of our research for documentaries, we researched three other documentaries around the same genre. The three documentaries we looked out were Taylor Swift: Journey To Fearless, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never and Katy Perry: Part Of Me. Here are some of the conventions from the documentaries that we will include:
Costume
For the people included within the filming, the costume is quite simple. For Drew Taylor, she is based on the Country singer Taylor Swift. So her costume would clothes like checkered shirts and jeans. Here are some examples of Taylor Swift:
These are the costumes we want to base Drew Taylor on. All other characters we will include (Best Friend, possible cousin, Teacher and Family) will just wear normal casual clothing. Megan will be doing most of the interviewing, but will most likely not actually be included in the filming. If she was, her costume would be formal, as she is seting a example.

To make the filming a lot more easier to accomplish, we made a timetable that would suit all of us. This would include free lessons and our actual Media lessons at school, some filmong after school as well as at the weekend. It was a lot more organised and would help us immensly.
We will try to stay to this schedule as best as we can to achieve the best outcome for our production.

Script and Shot List
As a draft, we wrote a shot list and a scrpt in one to get an over view on what we wanted to film when production started.
This is what we have written so far. We may add some or take away some along the way:
This is what we have written so far. We may add some or take away some along the way:
- Fade from black.
- Montage of Gemma's old photographs. (Simple fade transition between each photo).
- Voiceover from Tom - "Drew Taylor is one of the most influential song writers of the modern day. In little more than 3 years, she has gone from being a bullied school girl to an international pop sensation. But how did she manage this incredible achievement, and how has she settled in to her new life of fame and fortune? Join us through this remarkable story of how a small 16 year old with barely even a friend to her name, ended up with over a million fans across the globe."
- Fade to a scene in the hall - over the shoulder shot of Gemma walking onto the stage in front of three judges. (This is her first singing audition on a singing talent competition).
- Shot Reverse Shot then takes place here as we see the judges giving feedback on Gemma's audition.
- Voice-over then cuts in - "From this moment, Drew was destined for fame, and immediately began to make her mark on the pop world. Her debut single, 'Fifteen' became a huge success, raking in at number 1 on the charts." - Clip from previously filmed Fifteen music video.
- Cuts to a shot of the Chauncy School sign, and then to Drew and an interviewer, (Gemma and Meg), standing by the school steps.
- Interviewer - 'So Drew, how long has it been since you were last here'?
- Drew - 'I remember walking up these steps in my very first music video when I was 16 years old. As I'd been a student here for 5 years, I was given permission to film on the grounds and inside the school.'
- Interviewer - 'Why don't you give us a tour of the place'?
- Drew - 'Yeah, sure'.
- Cuts to a shot of Drew and the interviewer walking up the steps and through the entrance doors.
- Several clips of Drew showing the interviewer some of the places that were filmed.
- Interviewer - 'I know you speak fondly of this place now, but you weren't always happy here were you?'
- Drew - 'No, I wasn't. The problem was really only because of my height. It seemed like such a trivial thing, but some of my class mates just couldn't seem to get over it'.
Anamatic A2 Production
From our screenshots drawn, we had filmed each shot to create our anamatic. This would help us decide which shot would go after the other, as it makes it easier to determine what shot to do. This would also help with our research and planning side of the production.
Playing over the top of the anamitic is a song from our inspiration Taylor Swift, 'You Belong With Me' to keep with the country theme. It gives a taste of the kind of person our character (Drew Taylor) is.

Production Pitch
In a group with Daniel Faint, Tom Hurst and Megan McMillan, we presented our idea on a PowerPoint presentation to the rest of the class for feedback. The overall idea is to make a 5 minute documentary of a made up character named Drew Taylor and her rise to fame. The documentary will include younger family photos and interviews of other people as well as Gemma Crane; whom will play as Drew Taylor.

Knebworth Filming
As a small production task, I teamed up with Megan McMillan to film a breif music video to Taylor Swift's song: You Belong with me.
For props, we brought along my Ukulele for effect. Within the music video you will Megan lip syncing to the song as I film it. We were going to film more, switching positions of who lip syncing and who films, but the trip at Knebworth was short. Not a lot of the song was finished so we worked hard on the clips we had managed to film.
We both worked on the editing side of the music video, and completed it in the best of our abilities.
Sadly, our production video has been lost before we could completetely finish it, so Megan and I are unable to post the production.
